Raleigh, N.C. — Time's running out to cash in on four scratch-off games in the North Carolina Education Lottery.
The $1 North Carolina Education Lottery, Tic Tac Toe, Firecracker Cash games, and the $5 $100,000 Carolina Cash game were taken off counters in December. In accordance to lottery rules, the 90-day period where winners can cash in their tickets will officially end Thursday. Any unclaimed prizes will go toward future games and the education fund.
The four scratch-off tickets were among the first sold in North Carolina when the lottery launched a year ago. There are still more than $250,000 in unclaimed prizes with the four games.
