RALEIGH, N.C. — All three suspects in the death of a young Raleigh woman who was stabbed to death at her home last month were indicted this week by a Wake County grand jury.

Authorities said Lauren Redman, 22, died in the early-morning hours of Nov. 8 outside her West Raleigh apartment on Walnut Creek Parkway.

Police said witnesses told them one of the suspects, George Sasser, was angry with Redman for kicking him out of the apartment where he lived with her and that she owed him money.

According to investigators, Byron Waring, another suspect in the case, told them he worked for Sasser and went to Redman's apartment to collect that debt.

Waring and a third suspect, Joseph Sanderlin, both who are accused of murder, are being held without bond; Sasser, who is charged with accessory after the fact, is being held on a $500,000 bond.

The three men will make their first appearances in Superior Court in January.
