Cumberland Shooting Suspect Surrenders To Authorities

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A man wanted for murder turned himself in to Cumberland County authorities on Monday.

Investigators had been looking for Lerandall Simmons since last Thursday. He is charged with murdering Johnny Davis.

Investigators found Davis' body in a home in the Topeka Heights subdivision last week. They say the murder was domestic-related.

Simmons' first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday.
