CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — The case against a Chapel Hill teen accused of killing his parents has been continued until November.
Alison and James Sapikowski were found shot to death in their home in May. Police say their son, Adam Sapikowski, admits killing them.
During Wednesday's hearing, lawyers on both sides presented motions. No trial date has been set yet.
Sapikowski has spent the last month at Umstead Hospital in Butner. His lawyer said he suffers from mental illness and needs constant medical attention.
