Two Escapees Recaptured In Virginia

RALEIGH, N.C. — Two inmates who escaped while conducting work duty in Virginia have been captured by authorities.

James Bailey, 39, and 22-year-old Joshua McCaffity were located in a rural wooded area of Lunenburg County, Va., around 9 a.m. Tuesday.

Law enforcement officials received a tip and used search dogs to find the inmates. They were apprehended without incident.

The two allegedly left in a state prison Chevy pick-up truck on Oct. 8. Bailey is serving four years for possession of cocaine. McCaffity is serving eight years for breaking and entering.
