<b>ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.</b> — The State Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting that involved a Rocky Mount police officer.

The Rocky Mount Police Department confirmed Sunday that one of its officers was involved in a shooting Saturday night, but could not provide any details about the shooting or the suspect. The department did say, however, that the police officer involved was not seriously hurt.
