RALEIGH, N.C. — A man in prison for a deadly drunken driving accident could soon return to court.
Nolan Myers was one of six people killed when Larry Veeder drove his vehicle through a crowd in November 2003. Myers' family is now suing Veeder.
Myers' family is also suing two of the establishments they say served Veeder alcohol past the point of intoxication.
Veeder is serving an 11-year prison sentence.
