RALEIGH, N.C. — An elderly couple who was in Raleigh recently for the Senior Games was the victim of a robbery and a kidnapping, Raleigh police said.
Police said a male entered a couple's room at the
Super 8 Motel on New Bern Avenue
, stole the couple's money, and kidnapped the 70-year-old man.
Investigators said the suspect pulled a gun on the Hamlet man and ordered him to drive around the city.
The suspect then got out of the car and fled.
Police are still trying to identify a suspect.
