CARY, N.C. — A Green Hope High School senior killed in a wreck this past weekend will be buried this week.
Brittany Couture's car hit the back of a dump truck near the intersection of Alexander Drive and Highway 55 early Saturday morning.
Couture, 17, was a member of the dance team, and taught physical education to local elementary students.
Green Hope observed a moment of silence during its first period Monday and school counselors were on-hand to help students cope with Couture's death.
