DURHAM, N.C. — Investigators have found the sport utility vehicle of a man whose body was dumped on a road after he was shot to death.
Sheriff's deputies found Albert Barnes Jr. Tuesday morning in Durham County near I-40 and Fayetteville Road. An officer saw his vehicle near downtown Durham.
Detectives say the amount of blood in the Jeep indicates Barnes was shot inside the car.
There is no word on any suspects in the case.
