DURHAM, N.C. — Police said a man has life-threatening injuries after being shot outside a Durham apartment complex Friday night, police said.

Police said a suspect drove up in a white Jeep Cherokee to the

Parkside Apartments complex

and fired shots out the passenger-side window before driving off.

Nineteen-year-old Jose Daniel Noreiga was shot in the abdomen, police said.

Police said Noreiga and the shooting suspect fought at a party held at the apartment complex and continued a scuffle in the parking lot before the shootings.
