Police Arrest Screaming Woman At Legislative Building

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police took away a screaming woman in handcuffs at the North Carolina Legislative Building Thursday.

At about 3:15 p.m., police obtained a warrant for the arrest of Elmorine Curtis, who was wanted for making harassing phone calls.

While obtaining the warrant, police received a tip that Curtis was at the Legislative Building. When they got there, they found her inside yelling and screaming.

Police have not said why Curtis was at the Legislative Building or why she was screaming.
