Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A man who Raleigh police said robbed a convenience store and a house about two weeks ago remains on the loose.

Raleigh police said Xavier Shaw raced into the BP gas station on South Wilmington Street on July 13 and started shooting.

Investigators also believe he robbed a residence in southeast Raleigh the following day.

"We have reason to believe that he may have altered his appearance in some way, by possibly shaving his head or shaving the facial hair that he had on," Sgt. Stacy Deans said.
