Cary Dog Park Opening Delayed Until At Least October

Posted Updated

CARY, N.C. — Dog owners will have to wait a few more months for an off-leash park in the town of Cary.

Town officials were hoping to open the park in August, but now it is likely that it will not be until October.

Park officials say the delay is a landscaping issue. They have to plant plenty of trees and shrubs to help provide screening and it is too late to plant now.

The $50,000 dog park will be adjacent to Godbold Park.
