Fayetteville Toddler Injured After Being Thrown From Car Seat

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A toddler is in the hospital after a car accident Monday afternoon.
Authorities say the car carrying the child was traveling north on Ramsey Street in Fayetteville when the driver pulled in front of a delivery van that was headed south.
The child, who paramedics estimated to be between 2 and 3 years old, was thrown from her safety seat.
She is listed in stable condition at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
No charges have been filed as the investigation continues.
