JOHNSTON COUNTY, N.C. — Authorities had to temporarily close a road in Johnston County due to a fire at a facility.
The fire sparked in the dust filtration system at an asphalt plant behind Barrus Construction on Rainsmill Road in Princeton.
Firefighters responded to the fire at around 10:15 a.m. No one was hurt.
A portion of Rainsmill Road was shut down as the fire department completed the cleanup. It was re-opened shortly after 2 p.m.
