Settlement Reached In Colonial Inn Dispute

Francis Henry bought the Colonial Inn three years ago and promised to restore it, but town leaders said he has hardly made any repairs. Last year, they sued Henry to make him do the work.

Since then, Henry has made additional repairs and agreed to give the town a $2,500 grant to promote preservation incentives. In exchange, the town agreed to drop the lawsuit.

There is no word on what Henry plans to do with the property.
