The shooting occurred about 2:30 p.m. outside a store on Garnett Street. When police arrived, they found Alonzo Ellis, who said he had been shot. <br />

Ellis was taken to Maria Parham Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
