DURHAM, N.C. — The man who admitted killing his girlfriend in Durham will be in prison for a long time.
Antuanne Shaw made a deal with prosecutors, pleading guilty to second-degree murder. He will spend the next 23 to 28 years behind bars.
Investigators say he shot Priscilla Mason to death while she was working at a cash advance store in the Duke Crossing shopping center.
Authorities say they had a violent relationship.
