Durham, N.C. — A body found Friday afternoon in woods off Wilkins Road in Bahama in northern Durham County has been identified.
The body of Luis Fernando Vargas, 39, was found Friday afternoon about 200 feet off Wilkins Road, Durham Police Captain Paul Martin said.
Police determined that Vargas was murdered. The investigation into his death is ongoing.
