RALEIGH, N.C. — A man is in the hospital after an accident involving a pickup truck and a train.
The initial investigation shows that 22-year-old Derielle Lee Bell was driving his truck Tuesday afternoon across railroad tracks heading towards Williams Street when three train cars struck the vehicle.
Bell was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The incident is still under investigation.
The roadway on Blount Street near Williams Street will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
