1 Killed, 2 Injured in Raleigh Accident
Raleigh, N.C. — One person was killed and two others were injured Saturday evening when two cars collided head-on on Lake Wheeler Road.
Tiana Hartley, 26, was killed about 7:40 p.m. when an oncoming car made a left turn in front of the car she was riding in yesterday. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
The driver of the other car, Anthony Pirotta, is charged with misdemeanor death by vehicle, failing to yield right of way, and driving without a license. He and another person were also injured in the collision.
Part of Lake Wheeler Road near I-40 was closed for more than two hours as authorities investigated the accident.
