Two Blazes Keep Triangle Firefighters Busy

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Firefighters in the Triangle stayed busy overnight.

In Raleigh, crews responded to a fire at a home on Hill Street.

The call came in around 2:30 a.m. No one was seriously hurt. There is no word on a cause.

A late-night fire on Chandler Road in Durham left two people without a home.

A passer-by noticed the house was on fire around 11 p.m. and called 911.

A man and a woman were inside at the time. They got out safely but the house is ruined.

Investigators are trying to figure out what started that fire.
