Charges Dropped Against Father Accused Of Threatening Bus Driver

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Wake County man accused of threatening a bus driver no longer faces charges.

Raleigh police said Mark Deans stopped a bus back in January and demanded to see his children. Officers said he kicked in the windows and threatened the driver.

No children were on the bus at the time.

The incident happened the day a few inches of snow paralyzed traffic, leaving some buses and other vehicles stuck for hours on the road. Hundreds of students who could not get home had to spend the night at school.
