RALEIGH, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff's Office has charged a woman in connection with the death of her husband.
When authorities showed up at a home on Rock Drive in Raleigh Sunday, they found 51-year-old Bruce Clawson and his 52-year-old wife, Teresa, with stab wounds. They were transported to WakeMed, where Bruce was pronounced dead.
According to investigators, an argument between the couple escalated to an assault that led to Bruce Lawson's death.
Authorities said Teresa Clawson was the aggressor and the injuries she sustained were self-inflicted.
Teresa Clawson has been hospitalized since April 10, but she was released Thursday.
