Capital Boulevard Re-Opened After Gas Leak

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Inbound traffic to Capital Boulevard has been re-opened after a gas leak near the intersection at Fenton Street closed the road for about 30 minutes Tuesday afternoon.

Officials said it appeared a contractor had hit a 2-inch gas main.

Raleigh police were not letting cars exit from the Beltline onto Capital Boulevard in an effort to ease the traffic.
