<b>WAYNE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — A Wayne County man can finally say goodbye to his wife who died in the deadly tsunami that hit south Asia in December.

Tim Massey and his wife, Carol, were on the beach when the tsunami hit Thailand.

Tim returned home to Wayne County, but it took three months for someone to find his wife's body.

The family has scheduled a memorial service for Carol Massey on April 30.

Officials say more than 170,000 people died in the tsunami.
