Whistleblower In Grade-Fixing Scandal Wants Job Back

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — The whistleblower in a charter school grade-fixing scheme wants his job back.

A state investigation prompted school leaders to fire Anthony Corbett from his teaching job at Sallie B. Howard For The Arts & Education in Wilson.

Corbett calls it retaliation and he plans to sue, asking for his job plus $3 million in damages.

An investigation in January revealed end-of-grade test answers at the school were changed. One administrator resigned in the wake of the incident.
