Participants In Fitness Challenge Continue To Make Progress

RALEIGH, N.C. — More than a month ago, WRAL introduced five people in a challenge to get fit. Their goals are varied as well as their progress.
Phyllis Spencer, Joyce Bailey, Satbir Minhas, Jamie Woodlief and Dewan Gates are all making great progress in the challenge to see who gets the most fit.
"Clothing sizes have dropped," Spencer said. "I've gone from a 30-32 to a 26-28."
"I am definitely stronger and I feel so much better," Woodlief said.
"I used to feel beat up after finishing a session, but I feel I can go longer," Minhas said.
The five work out three times a week for one hour. The trainer, along with online voting, will determine the winner in about a month and a half.
The winner gets a free gym membership, free sneakers and more. WRAL will keep you posted on their progress.
