RALEIGH, N.C. — Authorities are investigating an incident that left one man dead and two others injured in Fayetteville.
Police said someone tried to break into a home on Knotty Elm Loop.
Witnesses said the burglar and the people inside the home exchanged gunfire.
Shawn Williams died at the hospital.
Detectives do not have a suspect at this time and are continuing to investigate.
