45 Students Shifted In Wake Reassignment Plan

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Wake County's school reassignment plan is getting a revision.

School Board members have asked the school system to move 45 more students.

The neighborhood in question would move from Reedy Creek Elementary to Adams Elementary.

That assignment is closer to home for the students. A public hearing for affected parents is set for April 5.

Next year's reassignment plan already moves nearly 2,300 students.
