GARNER, N.C. — A Wake County teacher is off the job this morning and under investigation.
Steven Koller teaches eighth grade at North Garner Middle school.
Garner police are investigating whether he used excessive force with a rowdy student during an incident in the school's cafeteria.
Investigators will determine if Koller should be charged with misdemeanor assault.
He is currently suspended with pay.
