Warren Hunter Accused Of Animal Abuse Pays Fine

WARREN COUNTY, N.C. — A Warren County hunter paid a fine after being accused of abusing hunting dogs.

The case involved the seizure of the dogs from a hunting club in September 2004.

Charlie Alston, of Warrenton, was charged with 15 counts of criminal animal abuse. A judge dismissed all but two charges.

Alston pleaded no contest and paid a $200 fine.
