ST. PAULS, N.C. — Both lanes of northbound Interstate 95 are closed between milemarker 31 and 33 in St. Pauls due to a vehicle accident.
The state Department of Transportation said the road is expected to be cleared by mid-morning.
As an alternate route, northbound traffic should take I-95 Exit 31 to N.C. 20 east to U.S. 301 north to I-95 exit 33.
Motorists should expect delays and proceed with caution through this area
