U.S. 64 Wreck Backs Up Traffic Into Raleigh For Miles

RALEIGH, N.C. — A wreck involving four vehicles and a tractor-trailer backed up the morning commute on inbound U.S. 64 just outside the Raleigh beltline Tuesday.

The wreck happened on New Bern Avenue near Trawick Road around 6:45 a.m.

At one point, traffic was backed up for several miles to the Knightdale water tower.

No one was injured.

There is no word what caused the wreck.
