TARBORO, N.C. — A Tarboro woman who claimed she was robbed now admits the she staged the whole thing.

Tiffany Lowe claimed someone robbed the Cox Communications office where she worked last month.

Investigators say Lowe now admits she faked it. She is charged with two counts of felony embezzlement.

Officers say a man caught on surveillance tape taking money was actually Lowe's cousin posing as a robber. He could also be charged.
