Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A woman accused in a stand-off at a Caterpillar plant in Clayton is in Dorothea Dix Hospital.

A judge ordered a mental evaluation for Pam Arizona. She has charged with first-degree kidnapping and making false bomb threats.

Investigators said she held three people at gunpoint Tuesday after a friend was fired from the plant. No one was hurt.

Arizona's next court appearance is later in November, pending an evaluation at Dorothea Dix Hospital.
