Harnett County Schools Aim To Ease Overcrowding

Posted Updated

LILLINGTON, N.C. — The Harnett County school board is trying to ease growing pains.

It approved a moratorium on student transfers Monday night.

In some cases, brand new schools in the county are already using mobile classrooms.

The moratorium will be in effect until the end of the school year and applies to all county schools.
