Raleigh City Council Continues To Study Vendor Issue

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — Hot dog vendors could soon learn if their street-side kitchens can stay where they are or if they will have to move.

A Raleigh City Council committee proposed banning food vendors from setting up within 50 feet of a business that sells the same item.

Business owners complained the vendors had an unfair advantage.

The full council decided to study the issue further.
