GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A Wayne County man is in jail charged with breaking into area churches and stealing more than $2,000 worth of goods.
Deputies arrested Johnny Howard, 43, on Tuesday.
Officials say they found items taken from the churches at a local pawn shop.
They located Howard after they say he rammed into a convenience store with his car and took items from inside.
