Friday is now a WRAL Weather Alert Day. Parts of Hoke, Cumberland and Sampson counties are under a level 2 risk for storms Friday afternoon and evening. The biggest threat will be damaging winds and heavy rain, but an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out in our southern counties. The storms are expected to impact these areas from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Wake County grand jury indicted a self-proclaimed minister Tuesday on various sex offenses involving children.

Kenneth Dixon faces eight charges after being accused of inappropriately touching several girls.
