Teen May Be Tried As Adult In Selma Murder Case

SELMA, N.C. — A Johnston County teenager charged with murder may go to trial as an adult.

Prosecutors are deciding whether the young man who is accused of shooting Tyjuan Gray three times should stay in juvenile court.

The shooting happened Sunday in Selma. If prosecutors decide to try the 15-year-old as an adult, he could get life in prison.
