Local Woman Accused Of Fatally Stabbing Boyfriend

FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. — A Fuquay-Varina woman has been charged with murdering her boyfriend.

Investigators said Laverne Cunningham repeatedly stabbed Alex Rowland in the neck and chest.

The two reportedly were arguing when Cunningham took out a knife.
