OLIVIA, N.C. — The Harnett County restaurant that was the scene of a deadly accident Monday will not reopen.
Owner Calvin Hardee says he is closing Peggy's Seafood Restarant.
Hardee's 32-year-old son, Dale, was killed when a 14-ton tractor-trailer plowed into the restaurant's dining room Monday.
Witnesses say David Brachearo of Greensboro was speeding and not paying attention when he ran a red light. Investigators say it could be several days before they file charges.
