Raleigh Approves False Alarm Ordinance

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — On Tuesday, the Raleigh City Council approved a new false alarm ordinance.

The ordinance does not require you to register your alarm with the city. However, you will have to pay for false alarms.

The first one is free, but after that you will have to pay a fine. The penalty increases the more times your alarm sounds.
