Contractors Sue NCCU, State Over Mold Problems

Posted Updated

DURHAM, N.C. — The state attorney general's office sought compensation from five contractors after mold was found at North Carolina Central University. Now, two of the contractors are taking legal action against the state and the university.

Two dorms were shut down last August after toxic black mold was found.

Students were forced to stay in hotels. The dorms were cleaned and reopened in June.
