Raleigh Police Seek Suspect In 2 Rapes

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are looking for 41-year-old Timothy Bernard Owens, who is charged with two counts of second-degree forcible rape and two counts of second-degree forcible sex offense in connection with crimes that occurred June 23 and April 25.

Owens is described as being 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 165 pounds, with a shaved head and dark complexion.

According to police, the two incidents are separate incidents and did not involve the same victim. But both incidents took place at Owens' residence, 4 Chavis Way in Raleigh.

Police believe the victims were recent acquaintances of Owens. The most recent victim was 16 years old, and the other was 27 years old.

Owens is not a registered sex offender in North Carolina.
