More Arrest Warrants Issued In Robeson Kidnapping Case

Posted Updated

ROBESON COUNTY, N.C. — Robeson County authorities said they only had the street names of the suspects who took 3-year-old Jai-Mya Glover from her home in April. Now, they said they have their real names and have issued warrants for their arrests.

Authorities will not say how many suspects they have or their names. They said releasing that information may hinder their efforts.

Wanda Lee, Jai-Mya's, mother said her daughter was abducted from her bed in April by several suspects. Authorities were able to find Glover, who was unharmed about 15 miles from her home. Authorities later arrested one of the suspects, Larry Nance.

Authorities said some of the other suspects were seen on a surveillance video at a Wal-Mart in Hope Mills. They were reportedly buying items used for the kidnapping.

According to Jai-Mya's relatives, the suspects contacted Jai-Mya's father through his cell phone in an effort to ransom her. Authorities have not said whether the suspects or Jai-Mya's father know each other.
