RALEIGH, N.C. — Ten people were injured Thursday night in a three-vehicle wreck at the intersection of Poole and Huntsboro roads.
Police said the driver of a Toyota Celica tried to pass another car and ended up sideswiping a Lexus and a van around 8:30 p.m.
The Toyota's driver was ejected when his car flipped. He is in critical condition at WakeMed.
His passenger, five people in the van and four others in the Lexus had minor injuries and were taken to WakeMed.
The driver is charged with driving while impaired, driving while license revoked, improper passing, displaying fictitious tags, driving without a seatbelt and reckless driving.
