<b>ORANGE COUNTY, N.C.</b> — Erica Frazier, 19, was charged Thursday with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the Cristin Carter case.

Deputies say she helped Carter, 15, sneak off to a motel in Durham the day before the Orange County girl was found dead outside her home near Hillsborough.

Authorities said Carter was with Lazaro Martinez the night before her death. He is charged with statutory rape.

Sheriff's deputies said there is evidence Carter had been using cocaine.
